Corrections policy
How TheStudentFeed corrects errors, clarifies stories and updates articles — and how to tell us about a mistake.
We work hard to get things right, and we take it seriously when we don’t.
How to report an error
Email corrections@thestudentfeed.com with a link to the article and a description of the error. An editor reviews every request, usually within one business day.
Corrections
When an article contains a factual error, we correct the text and add a note at the end of the article explaining what was wrong and what we changed. We do not silently edit published facts.
Clarifications
If an article was accurate but could have been clearer or lacked important context, we add a clarification note.
Updates
For developing stories, we update articles as new information becomes available and show the time of the latest substantive update at the top of the article.
Removals
We do not remove published articles except in rare cases involving legal requirements or serious risk to someone’s safety. Any such decision is made by our editors and explained in a note where possible.
